Carol Service 2023

After a hiatus of three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were happy to be able to return to St. John's Cathedral for our annual Christmas Carol Service.

Bishop Matthias Der, the Bishop of Hong Kong Island, was the guest preacher for the event. He delivered a stirring Christmas message drawing on the success of the Wright brothers and their achievement of the first manned flight, which occurred around this same date one hundred and twenty years ago in 1903.

Mr. Stephen Lam, the Director of Music at the College, conducted the school's Junior Choir and Brass Ensemble. The choir performed 'Were You There on That Christmas Night' by Natalie Sleeth and 'Angels Carol' by John Rutter.
