Success in IdeaPOP! 2023 StartUp Pitch Competition

Congratulations to our school team on winning the 2nd runner-up prize in the IdeaPOP! 2023 StartUp Pitch Competition organised by the SEED Foundation. The team consisted of four members of the STEM Team and the Entrepreneurship Club: Ng Chun Hei (3C), Sinn Wang Chun (4C), Shiu Chun Fai (4C) and Lung Tin Chak (5C).

In the project, the students developed an innovative app called Brain Station to enhance autistic children’s social and communication skills, and provide a platform for parents to connect with one another and share experiences. The app makes use of gamification and multimedia technologies like machine learning and virtual reality to design learning materials for children with autism and cater for the needs of caregivers. Ms. Cindy Chow, a member of the judging panel and the executive director of the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, praised this empathic approach.
