Bridge Team Claims Rose Bowl Championship After 18 Year Wait

We are delighted to announce that our Bridge Team has emerged as the champions of the highly-anticipated Rose Bowl, the most prestigious inter-school contract bridge competition for local secondary schools. This victory comes after a gap of 18 years since our last triumph in 2005 when we lifted the trophy.

Congratulations to the team members: Ng Hoi Chun (4F), Wong Chak Sum (6A), Siu Tsz Shing (6B) and Wong Christopher Chi Hin (6E).

This year's Rose Bowl, an annual contest organised by the Hong Kong Contract Bridge Association, attracted 36 top bridge teams from schools in Hong Kong. Young bridge enthusiasts showcased their strategic thinking, impeccable communication, and analytical skills throughout the tournament. With their unwavering determination and exceptional teamwork, our team members demonstrated their prowess on the bridge table, outplaying their opponents and claiming the championship title.

We would like to express our gratitude to all the teachers and alumni who provided training and support for our team members throughout the tournament. Without their immense help, our team would not have achieved such a remarkable feat.

Here are the results of our team's journey to victory:
Qualification Rank (15 July): 1/36, Victory Points: 90.54
Round of 16 vs BLMCSS (18 July): 59-31
Quarterfinal vs DBS (18 July): 79-40
Semi-Final vs SYSS (20 July): 71-59
Final vs VC (21 July): 122-109
