An Inspiring SDGs Learning Experience at Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park

On 7 July, SPC Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Student Ambassadors joined the WWF School Education Programme, "Amazing Ocean," at Hoi Ha Wan, thanks to the Environment and Ecology Bureau.

The ambassadors took part in interactive programs at the Jockey Club HSBC WWF Hong Kong Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre to deepen their understanding of SDG 14, "Life Below Water." They witnessed the diverse marine life at Hoi Ha Marine Park, which is home to over 60 coral and 120 fish species.

Additionally, they learned about threats to the ocean, including plastic pollution. The highlight of the day was a guided ride on a glass-bottomed boat that allowed the ambassadors to observe coral and fish species in their natural habitat.
