Basic Law Public Speaking Contest

Congratulations to Shiu Chun Fai (4C) on winning the first runner-up prize in the Basic Law Public Speaking Contest 2022-2023 (「講好《基本法》」演講比賽2022-2023) held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on Saturday, 6th May.

More than 100 students participated in the competition organised by the Hong Kong Basic Law Foundation and sponsored by the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau. The theme for the Secondary School Section was "When the young people thrive, Hong Kong thrives" (青年興，則香港興).

Chun Fai, Constitution and Basic Law Student Ambassador, and Chairman of the Moral and Civic Education Society, impressed the judges with his effective presentation skills and comprehensive understanding of the Basic Law in the two rounds of the competition. Well done.
