So Joshua Chun Him Crowned Champion in HKFYG Public Speaking Contest 2023

Congratulations to So Joshua Chun Him (3B) who made history to become the first SPC student to clinch the championship title in the prestigious HKFYG Public Speaking Contest (Junior Division) held on Saturday, 28 April.

Joshua earned a place in the Grand Final after taking part in three rounds of competitions and placing first in the Hong Kong Island Division. In the Grand Final, Joshua expressed his thoughts eloquently and responded well to questions from the judging panel. Apart from impressing the judges with his cogent speech quality, he emerged as the winner for the Audience Favourite Award.

In the same competition, Cheung Ting Yu (2B) and Wong Pak Yin (2C) were a semi-finalist and a district finalist respectively while Chow Chi Hoi (1B) and Guo Garin (1D) were awarded a certificate of good performance.
