Red Cross Youth Unit 39 Achieves 1st Runner Up in Territory-wide Nursing Competition

Congratulations to our Red Cross Youth Unit 39 on winning 1st runner up overall in the territory-wide Nursing Competition 2022-202, along with clinching the championship in one of the skill challenges.

This marks a significant milestone for our Unit, as it is the first time we have secured a top-three position in a Hong Kong Youth Red Cross departmental competition.

The competition, which took place on 16 April, consisted of ten top teams from the five divisions of Hong Kong Red Cross. It included four parts: a written test, two skill challenges, and a classic scene simulation competition. Our team members, Tsang Ho Yin Herman (2A), Ting Wai Chung Bryan (5F), Lei Wing Hei Timothy (5C), Wong Bryan Marcus (4A), Yu Sing Hei Sean (2F), and Chiang Ka Him Ryan (2B), demonstrated exceptional nursing skills and brought home the trophies.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Unit Patron Mr. Dennis Yuen, the Unit Officers, Unit Trainer Au Lok Kin Kevin (Class of 2021), Unit Manager Yuen Tai Kwong Andy (Class of 2009), and the College Council for their tremendous support throughout the entire training and competition process.
