The Plenary Session of the St. Paul’s College 170th Anniversary Seminar Series was held with remarkable success on 7 May at Asia Society Hong Kong Center. The event connected in-person and online participants that included SPC alumni, teachers, students, and leaders from the local community who are supportive of education. Many distinguished alumni guests were also in attendance in support of building a brighter future for our next generation. Among them were Mr. Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, Former President of the Legislative Council, Mr. Tak-Sing Tsang, Former Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr. Sunny Lo, Chairman of the Café de Coral Group.
Ten eminent speakers across a broad range of sectors shed light on future trends in their domains and shared their views on ways to help our youth discover their interests and get ready for the diverse opportunities lying before them. The plenary session was also attended by many university presidents such as Prof. Lap-Chee Tsui, Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong, Prof. Leonard Cheng, President of Lingnan University, and Prof. Roland Chin Tai-hong, Former President of the Hong Kong Baptist University, school principals, and representatives from leading institutions.
Leaders from the education sector, businesses, and various communities and organizations participated in discussing the way forward to work collaboratively and build a stronger foundation for the next generation to embrace future opportunities.
