The HKFYG English Public Speaking Contest 2022

Congratulations to Wong Chit Yu (4E) who has won the Merit Award in the senior division of the HKFYG English Public Speaking Contest 2022 co-organised by the HKFYG Leadership Institute and the English Speaking Union. He competed with four other district winners in the Grand Finals last Saturday after going through three rounds of the contest and finishing first in the District Finals (Hong Kong Island).

Earlier this year, Lau Yiu Fung Wyatt (2A) and So Joshua Chun Him (2C) performed admirably in the same contest, and earned a place in the semi-finals and the district finals respectively.

This year about 700 contestants from across the city participated making it the biggest public speaking contest in Hong Kong.

To prepare our students for the future, we will continue to provide them with opportunities to develop oratory skills and master the art of persuasion.
