The SPC Smart Campus Team comprising four Form 6C students, Cheung Long In, Lee Wan Kin Syrus, Ngai Tsz Chai Anson and Wan Chu Yan, has been named a top ten finalist in the inaugural Young Talent Smart City Forum organised by the Cyberport Academy and the Education Bureau.
In the eight-month programme, the students participated in a host of activities, including proposing a futuristic smart campus design, which featured an unmanned tuck shop selling healthy food, a living lab, well-preserved historic buildings and a multi-purpose sports ground; and attending school sharing sessions, which increased their understanding of how Cyberport supported the development of start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises during the pandemic. Overall, it was a fruitful experience for all the participants.
We hope the smart campus proposal can inspire new thoughts about campus enhancement.
