Anton Au-Yeung - Scout of the Year 2019

Congratulations to Anton Au-Yeung (2C), who has earned the distinction of being named a Scout of the Year 2019 by the Scout Association of Hong Kong.

Due to the pandemic, the 2019 selection process was not completed until recently. Anton became the twelfth scout from the 10th Hong Kong Group to obtain the Scout of the Year award. His positive attitude and his dedication to service make him a role model for other scouts and students to follow.

The College Scout Group now boasts the second highest number of Scout of the Year winners in Hong Kong. In our scout group’s history, there were brothers who won this same award; and now with Anton’s being another Scout of the Year, we now have a father and son who share the same top honour!

The Scout of the Year Selection was first conducted in 1987. It aims at giving formal recognition to scout youth members who exemplify outstanding service and achievement in their duties and commitments. As one of the awardees, Anton will have an opportunity to participate in promotional activities and exchange programmes to further enhance his skills and experience.
