Cheung Joy Wah Justin to represent Hong Kong in International Junior Science Olympiad

Congratulations to Cheung Joy Wah Justin, who will represent Hong Kong in the 15th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) to be held at Botswana from 2 to 11 December 2018.

The IJSP is an annual event that aims to promote natural sciences among students across the globe and provide a platform for gifted students to further expand their knowledge of natural sciences.

The IJSO Hong Kong Screening was jointly organised by the Gifted Education Section of the Education Bureau (EDB), the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, and the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education.

Justin was one of the six students selected for the Hong Kong team after being successful in the screening round and the subsequent intensive training.

The College is appreciative of our science teacher Mr W.K. Wong for coaching the school team in preparation for the screening round. We are very proud of Justin and we wish the Hong Kong team the very best of luck for the international competition.
