College Scout Group come first in 2017 Island Scout Trail Walk (25km Group)

A team of four scouts from the 10th Hong Kong Group won the championship in the 25km Group of the Island Scout Trail Walk, which took place on 19th March 2017.

Our championship team finished the first half (25 km) of the Hong Kong Trail in 3 hours 19 minutes in rainy conditions, just a minute short of the record set by the same team last year. Two other teams from our College Scouts Group also took third and fifth place respectively in the same event.

The Island Scout Trail Walk is an activity organized by the Scout Association of Hong Kong – Hong Kong Island Region to raise funds for charity.  It requires the participants, in teams of four, to complete 25km or 50km of the Hong Kong Trail. 

The names of the 10th Hong Kong Group winners are as follows:

25km Championship Team

Wong Rui Yan Ryan (2F), Tia Yik Ethan (2C), Lo Shing Shi Bernard (2E), Chan Parry (1B)

25km Second Runner-up Team

Lo Hui Nam Ernest (3A), Choi Hong Chun Adrain (3A), Shum King Heng Colin (2C) Lo Shing Sum Linus (2F),

25km Fourth Runner-up Team

Chan Yiu Fai Thomas (2C), Chan Daniel Keith (2A), Chow Ho lam Nicholas (1C), Lam Chun Lok Joseph (1D)
