In support of a charity drive organised by the Christian Action, a group of our students will be running a fundraising event, “Home．Sweet Home” Palmiers and Cookies Charity Gift Box on school campus today.
There will a “Home．Sweet Home” Palmiers and Cookies Charity Gift Box sales stall in the upper playground at lunchtime during the Principal’s Cup on 15th December, 2017. Students running the stall are those who previously took part in the 165th Anniversary Community Awareness Project (CAP) to Qinghai organised by the Christian Action and the College.
Each gift box costs $100. Inside it, you can find artisanal cookies and buttery palmiers from Macfield, a $50 cash coupon for Christian Action’s Community Sales Outlets, a 20% discount coupon for “the olive leaf”, the social enterprise floral shop run by Christian Action (to be opened in mid-December 2017), plus a unique Chocolate Rain greeting card. It makes a wonderful Christmas gift for your loved ones.
The fundraising event will be a perfect opportunity for the school community to spread love and hope to people around us in the festive season of Christmas, which celebrates the love of God and the birth of Jesus, our Saviour.
All funds raised through the charity drive will benefit children from low-income families in Hong Kong, as well as orphans and disabled children in Qinghai. Don’t miss this chance to show your love to children in need with only a small donation!
