Digital Wellbeing in Focus: A September Collaboration with the Jockey Club LevelMind Programme

This September, our Form 2 students embarked on a transformative journey through our partnership with the Hong Kong Jockey Club LevelMind Programme, exploring the intersection of digital habits and personal wellbeing—laying the foundation for values and “getting it right early” during these formative years.

As part of this initiative, we introduced our Revised BYOD Acceptable Use Policy, not as a rigid list of dos and don’ts, but as a thoughtful set of guidelines designed to help students maintain a healthy balance between online and offline life. From using devices only under teacher instruction to designated BYOD zones during recess and after school, the policy promotes responsible digital citizenship and self-awareness in a tech-rich environment.

Our Form 2 students were invited to reflect on how their choices impact focus, relationships, and emotional health. The 4-hour programme sparked meaningful conversations around boundaries, mindfulness, and the importance of unplugging.

We are proud of our students’ engagement and grateful to the LevelMind team for their inspiring work. Together, we continue to nurture a learning culture where wellbeing and innovation go hand in hand.
