Summer Activities 2008

a) Summer Voluntary Service Project 2008 - Serving the Elderly

Five representatives of St. Paul's College actively participated in the Summer Voluntary Service Project 2008 organised by Leo Club of Central. They were students of Form 5F, Horace Yu, Francis Lo, Alan Wang, Jacky Lam and Marco Leung. Our representatives were endowed with the spirit: Leadership, Experience and Opportunities:

i) Leadership: by being involved in service planning, preparation and participation, they gained confidence and leadership skills.

ii) Experience: through exposure to large scale community service projects, team spirit was appreciated.

iii) Opportunities: representatives were involved in planning and participating in the community services, with the guidance from the Leos with different academic and professional backgrounds.

In participation, they build up awareness of the needs of the elderly community. The school would encourage more students to actively participate in Community Awareness Projects in the future. For more details, please approach Mr. Wong Wai Hou.

Last but not least, the school would like to thank Miss Josephine Ho,the Advisor of the Leo Club of Central, for her continuous support and efforts.
