To further enhance community-minded qualities in the students at St. Paul's College, we would like to offer students the opportunity to join us on a community awareness project from April 9 to April 13, 2009. This project allows students to assist the eyes screening service for the children of the Luoyang Children’s Home. Apart from the service, there will be opportunities for them to visit Lions Club of Central Xinan Xian Special School and other places of interest.

The students selected will be accompanied by two representatives of our College, Mr. Wong Wai Hou and Miss Ho Kwai Ming, Josephine. The approximate cost, after deducting the subsidy from the College, is HK$3,000 per student.

Japanese Lanugage and Cultural Tour to Japan
Tour Date : 14-April-2009 to 18-April-2009

In view of our students' growing interest in the Japanese language and culture, the school has organised a tour to Japan during Easter Holidays. We have planned a series of activities for our students including school and library visits in Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya. Students will have plenty of opportunities to experience the Japanese culture. Through this trip, it is hoped that our students can deepen their understanding of the Japanese way of life. The students will be accompanied by Mr. Wong Hon Wing, Miss Emily Chan, Mr. David Chan, Mr. Li Yu Hin.

4/16 OSAKA – KYOTO
Highlight : Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkakuji temple , Heianjingu, Nishijin-Ori Kai kan

4/17 KYOTO – NARA – NAGOYA
Nara: Highlight : Nara Deer Park
Nagoya : brief city tour in the first “ ECO – Capital” in Japan.

Highlight: Sakae aera, The first integrated broadcast and TV Tower Oasis 21 with the Spaceship-Aqua and a street level park,Open-air underground space “Galaxy Platform”
